Gandaki Medical College Teaching Hospital and Research Center (GMCTHRC), Pokhara was established in 2007 AD with the objective of providing quality medical education to students from different parts of the world. Paschimanchal Technical School's vision of creating successful outcomes of employment-oriented education in Western Nepal through technical programs provided in Western Nepal. It is affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and the Council for Vocational Training (CTEVT) and is accredited by the Nepal Council of Veterinary Health (NPHC).It is located in Pokhara, Kaski district and was established in 1995 AD. It has been providing high quality education with the potential to achieve the objective of building efficient human capital in Nepal for the economic growth of the country.The school is offering pre-diploma / TSLC courses in community medical assistants and social mobilization.
For a pre-diploma course in Community Medical Assistant, candidates must have completed their SESE, going to a training institute for 15 months of training. However, all candidates must take an entrance exam to check their qualifications in the field regardless of their schooling. Candidates will eventually be selected on the basis of merit list. The course duration is 12 months (1560 hours). The trainees will be placed as OJT in various fields of healthcare after completing the final examination.
Trainees must complete OJT training under the supervision of the respective supervisor. And, for the pre-diploma course in social operations, it is designed for people who are willing to work in society as a community development agent but they have no idea, skill and knowledge to work in this field. This is a 15 month course (40 hours / week x 39 weeks week one year = 1560 hours. Or one year class and 3 months, OJT) course provided by CTEVT with internal assessment of 50% marks. 3 months (300 hours) with employment training, and 80% marks for practical work and 20% technical knowledge for each experimental nature subject.

The Pokhara School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (PSTHM) was formerly established by the Council of Technical Education and Professional Training (CTEVT) in Pokhara, Kaski, formerly known as the Pokhara Tourism Training Center (PTTC). 9. Pokhara University School of Health and Allied Sciences
The "School of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences" was started in Pokhara in 1997 with the establishment of the Faculty of Science and Technology. The school got off to a very normal start with B. Perm. Program. In 2003, the school launched the BACCMLT program to address the health problems of the 21st century in Nepal. In 2005, the Faculty of Science and Technology was shifted to the academic campus of Pokhara University in Lekhnath Municipality, which is known as the Garden City of Seven Lakes. From the same year the school started M.Pharm, in the Natural Products Chemistry program.
In 2008, the school launched a new health professional course; Bachelor of Public Health. In 2009, the school was renamed Health School and Health Sciences and B.Sc. Nursing program was started. To meet the goal of Pokhara University, since 2010, the School of Health and Allied Sciences has conducted M.Sc.
The farm has been started.The School of Health and Allied Sciences, Pokhara University has adopted a four-year academic undergraduate program based on a credit-semester system with intrinsic value continuity.An academic year of the university consists of two semesters every 16 weeks.
