3-4 Days Ghandruk Trek From Pokhara





The Ghandruk (1940 m) Trek is a great trekking option (area) for those who have been in Nepal for a short time or want to trek relatively short with other activities in Nepal. The Pokhara Ghandruk Trek is the perfect short trek for budget travelers. Pokhara Ghandruk Trek is known as Ghandrung Village Trek. All hikers love to hike in the Annapurna region. This relatively short Ghandruk trek 3 to 4 days begins and ends in Pokhara.
 
Ghandruk trekking is one of the popular destinations in the Annapurna region. The beautiful village of Ghandruk is located in western Nepal, Pokhara city (distance between Pokhara and Ghandruk is 20 km.) The road distance is 54.8 km. It is accessible by bus from the city for 3 to 4 hours a day. This small village is one of the most used trails of Annapurna Sanctuary.

 It claims to be the most visited trekking area in Nepal, and is widely known and popular among international visitors. From Ghandruk you can explore the magnificent view of Annapurna Himalayas from Annapurna South (7219 m), Gangapurna (7454 m), Annapurna III (7555 m), Hinchuli (6434 m) and Machhapuchhre (6997 m), Mardi Himal (5553 m) and other snow-capped mountains.


Ghandruk is a commonplace for Nepal's Annapurna Range (especially the Annapurna Base Camp and Annapurna Circuit Trek, in particular), various trails and tracks of accommodation possibilities. This village offers a dramatic view of mysterious peaks. It serves as the gateway to the Annapurna Himal and Poon Hill Trek, which puts it at the forefront of the province's tourist attractions. The Gurung community is the main inhabitants of the village. 

The village also has an old Gurung museum. The trek is ideal for anyone looking for a short hike around Pokhara with easy trekking trails and no awkward ascent / descent. Annapurna Himalayas, Crystal River and ordinary Nepali villages with beautiful view of the green forest flowing in the middle of the forest. Finally, Ghundruk is one of the largest Gurung (tribal) settlements in western Nepal. They have their own museum, traditional culture and friendly people. You can get a good view of Gangapurana Machhapuchre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Himachuli and other snow covered hills.



At Ghandruk you are in the capital of Gurung and you can also dress like here. But then Ghandruk can be roughly divided into two parts. The north is a small group of traditional houses while the south is more Hajjaj. If you are living in a quieter and more relaxed setting in the northern part. Brief Itinerary

# Day 01: Pokhara (820 m) - Australian Camp (2060 m) / Pothana (1950 m) = 3/4 Hours
We will meet at your hotel and drive the bus or car / taxi to Kande and we will reach Kande 1 hour later. Then start walking from Kande to Australian or Pothana (2:30 hours). Annapurna range, En-route witness majestic view of Mansalu and other mountains. In the Australian camp / pothana you can find various Gurung traditions, culture as well as mountains like Annapurna South, Annapurna II, Hinchuli, Fishtail. At night lodge.



# Day 02: Australian Camp / Pothana (1950m) - Landruk (1565m)
= 4/5 hours
Enjoy sunrise in the mountains early in the morning as the first rays of the sun hit the Himalayas. Then after breakfast, trek to Landruk. You must first check your TIMS permits at the ACAP office. Then start the journey to Landruk village. In the melodious sound of the forest and the birds, we take the view of Deurali or the road, the villages and the mountains. More trekking arrives in Landruk. At night lodge.

   
 Pothana(1950m)

# Day 03: Landruk - Ghandruk (1940 m) = 2/3 Hours
Early in the morning, spent some time in Landruk. Landruk is on a ridge and offers great views of Annapurna Massif, Ghandruk village and other mountains. The trek to Ghandruk starts from Landruk down to Modi river and then you have to cross the river and climb up. Check out some great views of En-route, the Himalayas and the lush green forest. And in a short time we will reach our destination (Ghandruk). And explore the village of Ghandruk, also visit the Gurung Museum. At night lodge.

# Day 04: Ghandruk (1940 m) - Pokhara (820 m) = 4/5 hours
Get up early in the morning and you will feel lost in the beauty of the mountains and in the morning with the light of the sun rising in the mountains. After exploring Ghandruk, have your breakfast and shortly after that we will return to Pokhara by bus or jeep from Ghandruk Bus Park to Pokhara and also have fun in Pokhara.
