1.Lakeside

Lakeside is a popular tourist destination beside Phewa Tal (lake) in Nepal's second largest city Pokhara. The main areas of Pokhara are broken up into Lakeside, Damside and the old Pokhara. Within Lakeside there's now a north Lakeside and a South Lake side. It's all quite easy to navigate as tourist buses drop most tourists off at the border between Lakeside and Damside.

After that it's an easy walk or taxi to the start of south Lakeside and into the ongoing development of north Lakeside. For most people it's just "Lakeside" - which consists of a quiet main road that runs alongside Lake Phewa Tal in Pokhara.

 

Swimming around Lakeside is not recommended. There's a lot of debris in the lake and safety is a strong concern there due to under currents. Not even the local swim around lakeside.

 Chipledhunga is located in the north of Pokhara Lakeside. It is 5 km north from pokhara city. If you want to go visit there  you take the taxi and bus anyone which want you and if you take taxi you get there after 15 minute and by local bus 30 minute. Chipledhunga is main market of Pokhara city. You maybe surprised to hear this name.This is why are ancestors named the place Chipledhunga because of the large slippery rock there. This stone still exists there. If you come to Pokhara you most visit this place and see the stone.
