The School of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences was started in Pokhara in 1997 with the establishment of the Faculty of Science and Technology. The school got off to a very normal start with B. Perm. Program. In 2003, the school launched the B.Sc. MLT program to address the health challenges of the 21st century in Nepal. In 2005, the Faculty of Science and Technology was shifted to the academic campus of Pokhara University in Lekhnath Municipality which is known as the Garden City of Seven Lakes.
